I design and facilitate innovative workshops and masterclasses, as well as deliver intimate talks and keynote speaking engagements to large audiences, all with the same goal to inspire and enable cross-discipline co-creation that makes lasting impact.

My mixed background allows me to create tailored solutions that specifically address a multitude of business needs (such as elevating company values, future mapping, ideation and innovation, as well as company transformation and culture change). A Framework For Co-creating
Experiential Experience Design
To deliver on experience design and innovation, it is imperative to create an environment that fosters not only strategic creativity, but a collaborative mindset.

I find that creating frameworks as a baseline to create, allows designers and clients to become aligned (as well as less subjective and more objective in the process). One example in applying experience design to experiential, which I have found successful, is a set of seven guiding principles, I call The 7XD Principles. These have proved valuable, not only for designers, but for clients alike in providing an experiential benchmark.

7XD is a developed process and set of principals to
utilise experience design (XD). This allows one to
have an 'objective' and not 'subjective' point of view.
It focuses on the emotive human-centric experience
that takes place across 'time' and 'multiple channels'
to create a holistic brand experience and storyworld.

Storytelling is vital in communicating and designing the human-centric experience. To get there I thrive in researching complex scenarios, to drive innovation, trends and invention. My entrepreneurial insight impacts this approach with solutions-based, creatively-enthused thinking and design, to create inspiring storyworlds.

I utilise storytelling as the common thread that elevates purpose and drives an emotive connection. Most recently my passions have shifted with the influence of agile and design thinking to create projects with a purpose that make a social impact for good in the world.

I like to surround myself with like-minded purpose-driven people. Culture and purpose are important to me both inside and outside the work place. To encourage this passion I have established a collective known as [sic] The Social Impact Co. We work evenings and weekends on endeavours that create a difference. At times there are moments that bridge the workplace with pro-bono initiatives for good.

As a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts "an enlightenment organisation committed to finding innovative practical solutions to today's social challenges" I champion that purpose for all of my projects.

Finally, if I stayed in the family business I would be a third generation restauranteur (the Waid's sign at the very top is the business my Grandfather started in the 1950s, Kansas City) . I am greateful to inherit that entrepreneurial mindset from my family and carry that spirit with me in everything I do.
